Job summary

4Wall Entertainment, Inc. is seeking an Audio Department Lead to oversee the audio team, maintain and repair gear, and ensure quality control across speakers, amps, microphones, mixers, and Dante networks for live events.

You will inspect gear before show orders and after returns, set up and operate all audio department equipment, and work within a fast-paced entertainment lighting and A/V environment.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for audio systems.
• Ability to build audio setups based on show specs.
• Ability to set up, strike and operate all gear within the Audio department.
• Experience in A/V & Entertainment Lighting industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the audio department technicians.
• Maintain, repair, and perform quality control on speakers, amps, mics, mixers, coms and Dante networks.
• Inspect and prep gear before orders and on return to shop.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure show specs are met.

We are looking for an Audio Department Lead to come join the 4Wall team!

What you will be doing:

While every day is different at 4Wall, you will be responsible for supervising the audio department technicians, as well as maintaining, repairing, and quality control of speakers, amps, microphones, digital and analog mixers, com systems, and DANTE networks. This includes inspecting and prepping gear before going out on orders and likewise when returning to the Shop.

What you bring to the table:

Our ideal candidate will have good computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair audio systems issues, ability to build audio systems based off the specs of a show, knowledge of how to set up, strike and operate all gear within the Audio department, and experience in A/V & Entertainment Lighting industry is strongly preferred.
