Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Driver I to safely move, stage, and park vehicles at Auction properties. You will drive vehicles to and from Auction lots and customer businesses, following safety rules and procedures.

The role runs weekdays from 8am to 4pm with an hourly compensation structure and potential incentive opportunities. This position emphasizes safe driving, vehicle handling, and customer service while ensuring compliance with all auction safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers with a valid license and clean driving record.
• Ability to sit for long periods and walk short distances.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through auction lanes in a safe manner.
• Move vehicles to designated areas on premises and to customer lots.
• Line up and park vehicles as directed; locate lost vehicles.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating and performing basic maintenance tasks.
• Notify supervisor if vehicle is inoperative or out of gas; coordinate with service staff.
• Assist customers and coworkers and model safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
