Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Logistics Specialist I for the USA location. The role handles vehicle data entry into AS400 (TC-75), affixing stock labels, and ensuring correct routing.

You will help prepare vehicles for auction, identify missing keys, and direct transporters to drop zones while maintaining data privacy and safety standards. Responsibilities include damage inspection, sale-code assignment, and routine equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Regularly standing, walking, reaching, talking and hearing are part of the job.
  • Lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Vision must include color and depth perception.

Responsibilities

  • Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system using a handheld device (TC-75).
  • Affix barcode/stock number stickers to each vehicle on arrival.
  • Apply work order numbers and routing labels to vehicles.
  • Identify and flag “no key” vehicles.
  • Direct transporters to designated vehicle drop zones.
  • Inspect and report transport damage as required.
  • Provide sale identification windshield codes.
  • Remove personal data from vehicles and reset navigation data as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.
  • Perform basic fit tunnel maintenance and keep area clean and organized.
  • Report equipment issues and assist with routine upkeep.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and support safety initiatives.
  • Assist with additional duties, including driving vehicles through auction lanes on sale days.
