ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking a General Manager to lead site operations and drive market growth. You will oversee customer engagement, financial performance, and employee leadership at our Missouri site.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, change management, and achieving strategic objectives. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will guide site teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence while delivering exceptional customer and employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with auction and automotive experience or HS diploma with 5 years auction experience and 5 years automotive experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for business growth. Meet with customers and attend sales visits to ensure prompt, courteous attention.
• Act as change champion for the site and communicate directives from Corporate Office and Regional Director.
• Attend P&L reviews and reconcile accounting with weekly/monthly reports; report variances to RD and Central Office.
• Monitor KPIs and leverage technology to implement improvement actions.
• Lead and mentor management for the auction; support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding per company guidelines.
