Job summary

Caring Transitions is seeking reliable teammates in Apple Valley for a flexible, part-time role focused on helping seniors transition to new living spaces. You’ll assist with downsizing, packing, and estate preparations, while prioritizing safety and client care.

Workdays are varied, with training provided and a friendly, respectful team culture. You’ll operate in local homes with opportunities to learn auction prep, packing, and logistics.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in potentially cluttered or dusty homes; gloves provided when needed.
• Reliable transportation and scheduling/tracking via smartphone.
• Age 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help clients downsize, relocate, and liquidate household items as part of a small team.
• Organize, sort, and pack/unpack items in homes and senior living communities.
• Research, photograph, and describe items for online auctions and estate sales.
• Assist customers during auction pickup days and estate sales.
• Sort items for donation, recycling, and disposal as needed.
• Follow company standards for safety, professionalism, and client care.
