Job summary

Ro Health is seeking per diem and part-time Instructional Paraeducators, BCAs, and RBTs for Auburn Union School District for the 2026-2027 year. Roles involve ABA-based behavioral support in 1:1 or classroom settings with students from pre-K to high school, and may transition to full-time based on performance.

Positions pay $18–$26 per hour and are in-person in Auburn, CA. Applicants should have relevant childcare/ABA experience and be able to commute to Auburn.

Qualifications

Job description

Are you passionate about supporting students with behavioral needs in their efforts to succeed in a school setting? Ro Health is hiring per diem and part-time Instructional Paraeducators (IP's), Behavioral Class Aides (BCAs) and Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT's) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in the Auburn Union School District. These positions can open up to full time, contingent on performance and reliability.

This role focuses on providing behavioral support in a school setting, specifically leverage implementation of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), with students ranging in grade level from pre-K to high school. It is a great benefit if you have previous experience supporting students with special needs and have worked in a 1:1 or 1:multiple capacity.

Our providers are assigned to cases as either 1:1 supports, or as a general classroom aide.

• As a 1:1 support: you would be going to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day. 1:1 supporters are responsible to ensure their student is on task and working towards their behavioral goals.
• General classroom supports: providers who are assigned to work with a single teacher or classroom. In this role, providers will support wherever they are needed most by the teacher. Typically every day looks different in this position, and you may be working with several different students throughout your day.

Requirements

• Must have a previous or current experience in childcare and/or ABA from within the last 5 years, and be able to provide at least 1 reference from said experience
• Must be located in Auburn region or willing to commute to Auburn!

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Strong assessment/ ABA behavioral intervention skills
• At a minimum, candidates must be instructionally eligible (Associate’s degree preferred)
• Passion for supporting students patiently in the learning process
• Inclination to work well in a team environment
