TrulyHired in West Virginia is seeking an AU Mentor/Aide to assist teachers in daily classroom activities and support students with autism and other needs. The role requires flexibility, the ability to manage behavior, and assistance with daily living tasks, including potential toileting support.
Salary ranges from $30,660 to $44,950 and will be set using the Berkeley County Schools scale, with a competitive benefits package.

FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
EMPLOYMENT TERM: 200 days annually
HOURS: 8:30 am-3:30 pm
SALARY: $30,660 - $44,950 Salary will be determined by using the Berkeley County Schools Service Personnel Salary Scale based on level of education and years of experience/certification plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
A vacancy exists for an AU Mentor/ Aide. Applicant's primary duties will be with AU Students.
SUMMARY: Assist teachers in the classroom with daily instructional and non-instructional activities. The successful applicant will provide support and assistance in the areas of behavior management, communication, daily living, self-help, academic, career/vocational and recreation/leisure skills. Toileting may be required.
