The position offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week and bonuses/incentives as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of workers’ compensation defense litigation experience.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to run matters independently and communicate clearly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Defend workers’ compensation claims from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Manage discovery, depositions, medical record analysis, motions, hearings, and settlements.
• Advise clients on risk exposure, claim handling strategy, and case resolution options.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to manage files efficiently and maintain high-quality work product.

This role is designed for an attorney who can step into an active defense-side workers’ compensation docket and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Hybrid with an in-office expectation of 3 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS

• 8 to 15 years of workers’ compensation defense litigation experience.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Strong case management skills, including the ability to run matters independently and communicate clearly with clients.

• Portable book of business.
