A global law firm is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Specialist to join their San Francisco office. This role involves overseeing local attorney onboarding and managing recruitment for both lateral and entry-level associates. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a legal setting, and possess strong communication and team-management skills. A robust benefits package is included.
Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for an Attorney Recruiting Specialist in our San Francisco Office. As an Attorney Recruiting Specialist at Orrick, you will join a top-notch team that places an emphasis on innovation and adapting to the evolving practices of competitive legal recruiting. As one of the primary recruiting contacts for San Francisco, you will be responsible for assisting with local attorney onboarding and the local summer program. You will work closely with the Sr. Manager of US Lateral Associate Recruiting to help manage Business Unit lateral recruiting, particularly for the Litigation and Corporate Business Units. You will also work with the Sr. Manager of US Law School Recruiting to help manage entry-level recruiting, including assisting with summer associate hiring and organizing campus events. In this role, you will help oversee the accuracy of the applicant database (iCIMS) for both lateral and entry-level associate hiring activity and generate related hiring reports. You will develop and maintain relationships with office leadership and Recruiting Committee members, as well as help facilitate law school relationships, especially in Northern California. Additionally, you will provide research, analyze data, and generate reports as requested. Familiarizing yourself with the attorney handbook and policies will be essential to effectively field questions. You will be expected to understand Orrick's innovative vision and the Recruiting Department's role in realizing that mission, to know the firm and its practice groups, how to best represent Orrick, and to identify the credentials and traits that are predictors of successful Orrick attorneys.

The expected salary range for this position is between $79,000 - $110,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
