Job summary

The Office Of The State's Attorney in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Major Investigations Unit. The role focuses on felony investigations, collaboration with law enforcement, and court proceedings. The position is non-supervisory and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements include a JD and MD license, plus 1–3 years of trial/investigative experience. Proficiency in Excel/Word/Outlook is expected; ArcGIS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and licensed to practice law in Maryland.
• Working knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook, Judicial Dialog, Google Earth; ArcGIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular criminal intelligence and violent crime drivers-targeting meetings.
• Conduct investigations and develop/maintain criminal intelligence on violent crime targets.
• Track target cases and report on office-wide data.
• Engage with community members to identify crime trends and disseminate intelligence.
