Goldberg Segalla LLP seeks an Associate for General Liability in Albany, Rochester, or Syracuse. The candidate must be licensed to practice in New York with 3–5 years in civil litigation, including depositions and motions. Experience in product liability, general liability, or insurance defense is preferred.

The annual salary range is $100,000–$165,000 plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, life, and a 401(k) plan. This is a full-time, on-site position.

THE POSITION

Goldberg Segalla has an immediate opportunity for an Associate to join our Albany, Rochester or Syracuse office.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of experience taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for arbitrations, mediations and trial, and be licensed to practice in New York. The ideal candidate writes effectively, thinks strategically, and has practiced in one or more areas of civil litigation, such as product liability, general liability and/or insurance defense.

THE BENEFITS

The annualized salary range for this position is $100,000-$165,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses and a full benefits package.
