A growing national law firm is offering a remote entry-level Associate Attorney position in New Mexico. Responsibilities include managing cases in residential real estate litigation, drafting court pleadings, and advising clients on legal strategies. Ideal candidates will hold a Juris Doctor and have strong communication skills. This position provides a full benefits package and allows for working from anywhere in New Mexico.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in the practice of law, preferably in litigation, real estate, or mortgage law.
• Admission to practice law in the state of New Mexico.
• Ability to interpret client systems.

Overview

Growing National Law firm has a remote opening for an entry level to Junior level Attorney in New Mexico. You can live anywhere in New Mexico as it is a remote position with a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

The Associate Attorney will manage cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters and protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings and general collection cases.

Specific Duties

• Manage cases from inception to completion


• Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies


• Draft court pleadings, defense of motions


• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person


• Other duties and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree


• Juris Doctor from accredited law school


• 0-2 years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law


• Admission to practice law in the state of New Mexico


• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written


• Must have the ability to interpret client systems


• Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet


• Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads
