Job summary

The State Bar of New Mexico is seeking a full-time Attorney Services & Engagement Manager to lead daily departmental operations, supervise staff, and drive attorney engagement initiatives. You will work with sections, divisions, and committees, coordinating events, programs, and communications to strengthen member value.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, leadership training, and cross-department collaboration, with partial telecommuting within NM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, association management, public administration, or a related field and two or more years of relevant, progressively responsible experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, at least 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises assigned departmental staff and provides clear expectations, priorities, coaching, feedback, and performance accountability.
• Leads coordination of elections, appointments, and membership processes according to bylaws and timelines.
• Plans and manages attorney-group programs and events, including development and delivery of training sessions.
• Develops engagement strategies, communications, and outreach plans in collaboration with Marketing & Communications.
