The United States Postal Service is seeking to fill an attorney position in one of the following locations: Chicago, IL or Plano, TX.
The successful candidate will handle a heavy employment caseload before the Federal District Courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as providing advice to internal clients on a variety of employment matters, including but not limited to those arising under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Applicants must have at least three years of experience primarily practicing employment law in federal courts or before the EEOC. Current litigation experience, including discovery, drafting and filing motions, mediation, and participation in trials and hearings, is required. Experience in handling federal district court employment cases and EEOC administrative litigation should be specifically documented in the applicant’s resume.
Occasional travel may be required.
Relocation benefits will NOT be offered to the successful candidate.
