No agency submissions accepted.We are seeking a Georgia barred Attorney that will be responsible for independently managing litigated commercial general liability defense matters with limited oversight from the managing partner of the book of business. The attorney will maintain full ownership of case strategy, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, client communications, and participation in business development initiatives within Georgia state courts. The position requires managing a high volume of active cases, conducting and attending in-person depositions and site inspections, and serving as first chair at trial when matters proceed to litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong trial mindset, with the ability to handle matters efficiently and decisively. Experience in Negligent Security, Trucking, and Premises Liability matters is highly preferred, and candidates with demonstrated exposure to these practice areas will be strongly considered.
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. However, the individual may provide indirect guidance or task coordination to legal assistants, clerical staff, or interns in connection with case preparation and defense-related activities.
