Job summary

TEEMA is recruiting a Class Action Attorney for a boutique consumer law firm in Los Angeles. Open to Associate, Senior Associate, or Partner level, with cases settled before trial and no lemon law practice.

Compensation ranges from $150k to $250k+ with significant bonuses on settled cases and discretionary year-end bonuses. On-site in West LA; 9-5:30, 2 weeks PTO, 7 holidays, 5 sick days, casual attire; strong work-life balance; healthcare benefits up to 100% of premiums.

Qualifications

• Prior class action experience required; open to training on consumer law.
• Onsite position in West Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research with heavy emphasis.
• Draft discovery and motions with heavy emphasis.
• Appear in court and argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Senior Associate path to partnership; Partners assist in training juniors.

Job Opportunity for Class Action Attorney with Boutique Consumer Law Firm

This position is open to candidates at the Associate, Sr. Associate and Partner Level:

About:

This position is well suited for someone uninterested in joining a trial firm; cases are settled prior to trial. (Please note the firm does not practice lemon law.)

Compensation:

Associate: 1-5 years of experience: $150k - $200k

Sr. Associate: 5-7 years of experience: $200k - $250k

Partner: 7-10 years of experience: $250k+

Significant bonus opportunities (% on settled cases, Y/E discretionary, origination)

Job responsibilities include:

• Conducting legal research (heavy emphasis)
• Drafting discovery and motions (heavy emphasis)
• Court appearances and arguing motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• (For Sr. Associate level candidates there is path to partnership potential as desired)
• (For Partner level candidates, you will assist in training and mentoring associates)

Requirements:

• Prior class action experience req’d; open to train on consumer law. (I.e candidates coming from employment law with class action experience will be strongly considered and are encouraged to apply)
• This is an onsite position in W LA
