Hunterlex in Irvine, CA is seeking a Litigation Attorney at the Associate or Senior Associate level with 3 to 5+ years of civil litigation experience to manage sophisticated matters from inception to trial.

The role offers in-office work with hybrid flexibility for the right candidate, a base salary of $200,000–$350,000+ DOE, plus an annual performance-based bonus and potential sign-on bonus, with meaningful courtroom opportunities.

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Litigation Attorney at the Associate or Senior Associate level with 3 to 5+ years of litigation experience. The firm handles high-stakes matters across a broad range of practice areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills, as well as the ability to manage sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sophisticated litigation matters from inception through resolution and trial.
• Develop and execute case strategy.
• Handle complex discovery and take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions.
• Work with expert witnesses and prepare matters for hearings and trial.
• Advise clients regarding litigation strategy, risk assessment, and settlement.
• Work directly with partners, clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Participate meaningfully in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years of strong, substantive civil litigation experience.
• Significant hands-on experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage sophisticated litigation matters.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, oral advocacy, judgment, and client-management skills.
• First- or second-chair trial experience strongly preferred.
• Strong established law firm experience preferred.
