Job summary

EXO Legal Search partners with a well-established Ohio personal injury law firm to place a Personal Injury Attorney. You will negotiate meaningful settlements, advocate for injured clients, and collaborate with an experienced legal team across multiple offices in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Negotiation skills with clients and insurers.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage client expectations and relationships.
• 2–5 years of plaintiff-side or defense-side personal injury experience.
• Experience in insurance defense or claims handling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims and develop evidence supporting liability and damages.
• Evaluate cases and create strategies to maximize client recovery.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers, defense counsel, and other involved parties.
• Resolve medical liens and other settlement-related matters.
• Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients throughout their cases.
• Develop productive relationships with opposing counsel, court personnel, and insurance representatives.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support professionals to move cases forward efficiently.
• Provide guidance and oversight to assigned support staff.
