Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Attic Insulation Installer to install, replace, and upgrade attic insulation in residential and commercial spaces. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and the ability to work in hot environments while maintaining clean and organized work sites.

The position requires basic construction tools knowledge, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Training is provided, with competitive hourly wages and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in insulation, construction, or HVAC preferred but not required; training provided.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in high-temperature spaces.
• Basic understanding of construction tools and measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Measure and prepare attic spaces for insulation installation.
• Install insulation materials according to specifications and safety standards.
• Remove old or damaged insulation as needed.
• Operate equipment such as blowers and vacuums.
• Follow safety protocols, including PPE and ladder safety.
• Communicate with homeowners or site supervisors about project details and progress.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and company vehicles.
• Document completed work and materials used for each job.
