Job summary
Visiting Angels CAREgiver opportunity offers meaningful in-home care to seniors, with flexible 4, 8, 10, or 12‑hour shifts and a range of day, evening, overnight, and weekend options. Earn $13–$16 per hour with eligibility for additional shift differentials and bonuses, plus a generous benefits package.
Training provided, no experience required, and opportunities to advance within a supportive team. Local service areas include Kanawha, Putnam, Cabell counties in WV and nearby OH communities.
Qualifications
- Experience not required; paid orientation and training provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for seniors.
- Valid driver's license or state ID preferred and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide non‑medical care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Run errands and help with appointments as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and dementia/Alzheimer's care as required.

Base Pay: $13.00–$16.00/hour based on experience
Plus, you can earn additional money through shift differentials!
- Weekday Regular Shift: $15/hour
- Weekend Shift: $17/hour
- Weekday ER Shift: $17/hour
- Weekend ER Shift: $19/hour
- Weekday Angel Visit Shift (2.5 hours or less): $18/hour
- Weekend Angel Visit Shift (2.5 hours or less): $21/hour!
- $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Monthly, quarterly & annual performance bonuses
- Referral bonuses of up to $1,000 per hire
You don't need years of experience to become a CAREgiver. We provide paid orientation and comprehensive training through our Caregiver Development Program.
You’ll receive hands‑on training, ongoing education, and additional training in areas such as dementia and palliative care so you feel confident providing exceptional care.

Experienced CAREgivers can participate in our 6-week mentoring program, where they support and guide new team members. Mentors serve as role models while helping new CAREgivers build confidence and succeed in their roles.

As a Visiting Angels CAREgiver, you’ll provide compassionate, non‑medical care, including:
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities
