Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School (UMass Chan), seeks a full-time (40 hours per week) board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrist to serve at the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital in Worcester, MA.

Qualifikationen

• Board-certified or board-eligible adult psychiatrist.
• Commitment to the recovery model of care.
• Depth and breadth of adult psychiatric experience and public sector psychiatry.
• Participation in supervision/teaching of trainees and students.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct clinical care to adult patients under the supervision of the Facility Medical Director.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team and participate in regular clinical and risk consultation meetings, as well as quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Be responsible for the admission and discharge of patients who meet appropriate DMH criteria.
• Be assigned to a unit by the Facility Medical Director and assume overall responsibility for the care of patients on the assigned treatment team, including assessments, diagnostics, and care plans.
• Lead the assigned Treatment Team and delegate responsibilities to team members in alignment with their disciplines and the goals of the treatment plan.
