Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is seeking an Attending Physician (MD/DO) to service a skilled nursing facility in the Bronx. Excellent salary commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will lead clinical services, develop policies, perform admissions exams, and train staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care. Board certification preferred; NYS licensure, valid DEA, CME compliance, and leadership experience in diverse settings are required.

Qualifications

• NYS licensure to practice medicine.
• Current DEA registration in good standing.
• CME licensure requirements up to date.
• Experience leading services in culturally and linguistically diverse settings.
• Knowledge of health center licensing and operations in a managed care environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality care to all patients in a respectful, professional manner.
• Plan, develop and organize medical services.
• Develop and review medical policies related to patient care.
• Conduct admissions physical exams and ongoing assessments.
• Provide ongoing medical training to staff and participate in care planning.
• Prepare for regulatory agency site visits and ensure compliance.
