Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee and manage primary medical care for residents at our facilities.

You will serve as the primary care provider for patients, supported by a dedicated full-time NP or PA to assist in delivering excellent patient care. You will lead clinical teams in Skilled Nursing Facilities, coordinate with NPs and PAs, and ensure high-quality care across LTC environments while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Leadership skills to mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Willingness to navigate multi-level facilities and physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
• Conduct patient rounds with NPs and PAs.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents/families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.

Job Summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to take on the responsibility of overseeing and managing the primary medical care for residents at our facilities. In this role, you will act as the primary care provider for the patients, ensuring their overall health and well-being. You will have a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support you in this role, working collaboratively with you to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Lifting/moving patients.
