Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents at our skilled nursing facilities in Fall River, MA. You will serve as the primary care provider with support from a dedicated NP or PA to ensure high-quality patient care.

This role is part-time (1 day/week) with total annual compensation of $50,000 to $60,000 and includes benefits such as paid time off and malpractice insurance. Leadership and LTC experience are preferred to mentor care teams.

Qualifications

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Ability to navigate facility settings and supervise care teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in SNFs, managing medical care.
• Conduct patient rounds and collaborate with NPs and PAs.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and oversee chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Work with nurses, therapists, and specialists for comprehensive care.

Job Summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to take on the responsibility of overseeing and managing the primary medical care for residents at our facilities. In this role, you will act as the primary care provider for the patients, ensuring their overall health and well-being. You will have a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support you in this role, working collaboratively with you to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Lifting/moving patients.
