Penn State Health Milton Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA seeks an Attending RN for Urology & Surgical Specialties to provide direct patient care and lead medication administration, education, and counseling for patients and families.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, with a BSN due within four years, and an active RN license. One year of RN or two years LPN experience with BLS is preferred. Day shift, 8:00a–4:30p, Full Time.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The RN Attending Nurse will provide direct patient care, administers medications, educates, collaborates, and counsels patients and families. The Registered Nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families. The Attending RN will serve as the professional nurse by assessing, planning, directing, practicing and evaluating patient care in a designated group practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Associates' Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN required within four (4) years of hire.
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• One (1) year of RN experience or two (2) years of LPN experience Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• BSN preferred
