Role

Spa Desk Attendant – responsible for assisting patrons of the spa and maintaining the cleanliness of the spa and fitness center, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.

Responsibilities

• Issue locker and locker keys.
• Collect soiled linens and deliver them to the laundry room daily; pick up clean linens daily.
• Maintain stock items for the health spa.
• Demonstrate operation and explain purpose of exercise equipment.
• Process memberships and input into computer database.
• Answer phone calls and schedule spa service appointments.
• Collect fees and process transactions for use of facilities, services, and retail merchandise.
• Follow the Customer Service Model at all times.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Knowledge of all company policies, procedures, and fire and safety regulations; regular attendance required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications

• Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or license(s), if any.

Language Skills

Must be able to effectively communicate in English and read/write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer Skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Micros Inventory software.

Reasoning Ability

Retaining details, using arithmetic, reading, working rapidly, working at various tempos, concentrating amid distractions, examining and observing details.

Physical Demands

Standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, carrying, hearing, lifting 50 lbs, sitting, bending, stooping, observing, stretching, pushing, turning, balancing.

Work Environment

Inside, noisy, odors, changing temperatures, dirty, gloves.
