Job summary

Cimarron Casino Enterprise is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to assist in delivering quality service in a casino dining environment. The role involves taking orders, cashier duties, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining dining areas with a courteous, professional approach.

The position requires 1 year of general work experience, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with POS systems.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma (or GED) and 1 year of general work experience required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with computer programs and POS systems; alcohol license within 7 days of employment; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service to Guests.
  • Takes orders and operates cashier for all food and beverage transactions.
  • Prepares and serves all food and beverage orders to Guests' specifications.
  • Performs cleaning and stocking duties according to enterprise specifications.
  • Maintains dining room and Guest self-service areas.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures, including Tribal Internal Control Standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY:Responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Supervisor in ensuring that all activities in the Food & Beverage Department are performed accurately and efficiently in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and internal control standards. The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for providing quality Food & Beverage Department service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner while displaying a high level of customer service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Duties include, but are not limited to:Provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service to Guests.Serves as an order taker and cashier for all food and beverage transactions.Prepares and serves all food and beverage orders to Guests’ specifications.Performs cleaning and stocking duties according to enterprise specifications.Maintains dining room and Guest self-service areas.Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures, and to TICS (Tribal Internal Control Standards).Performs other duties as assigned.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. High School diploma (or GED) and 1 year of general work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required. Experience working with applicable computer programs and Point-of-Sale system(s). Applicable alcoholic beverage service license required within 7 days of employment. ServSafe Food Handlers Certification required within 90 days of employment.LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and other related documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
