Job summary

California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking an Attendant to provide attentive service and support, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained environment for patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hospital experience.
• Fire Safety training within 90 days.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from SDS, PACU, GI Lab, Surgery, and other departments promptly.
• Transport blood products, specimens, beds, and other equipment required as requested by nurses.
• Checks blanket and fluid warmers at par levels and replenish. Label fluids for the warmer according to policy expiration. Check compressed air tanks daily and replenish and store them as appropriate.
• Dock Neptune suction equipment daily or as needed.
• Restock sinks with scrub brushes, masks, hats, shoe covers, and other related supplies daily in a cost-effective manner.
