Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Certified Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) to join our MOT team on a full‑time basis. You will support temporary traffic control plans, set up devices, and coordinate work zones to keep pedestrians and motorists safe.

The ideal candidate holds ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification, a valid driver’s license, 2+ years of traffic control experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires outdoor work and varying shifts.

Qualifications

  • ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor Certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • 2+ years of traffic control experience required.
  • Commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Open availability including weekends/holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain channelizing devices and traffic control equipment per Federal, State and local guidelines and plans.
  • Coordinate and communicate work activity for onsite MOT personnel and protectors.
  • Coordinate with customers to meet expectations while maintaining professionalism.
  • Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and team members to sites and back.
  • Follow all safety procedures and notify supervisor of potential issues.
  • Provide on-the-job training and obtain MOT-required training within set time frames.
  • Complete required project documentation (e.g., safety briefings, logs, inspections).
  • Other duties as assigned.
