Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking an ATS Assembler for a WKND Full-time position in Royal Pines, NC. The role involves winding, assembly, and copper operations to produce sub-assemblies and final assemblies of control equipment, with safety and quality as priorities.

The successful candidate will install and wire devices per BOM/diagrams, maintain build schedules, and work with supervisors to resolve production issues. Overtime and weekend availability are required.

Responsibilities

• Build/Wire Main Breaker Units.
• Fully assemble structures, including doors, copper wiring, and devices; prepare for shipping.
• Ensure copper connections meet bracing specifications and all clearance rules.
• Install and wire electrical devices per BOM and diagrams.
• Maintain build schedule to meet production demand.
• Collaborate with supervisors to address production issues promptly.
• Maintain a safe work environment and perform other tasks as required.

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a ATS Assembler- WKND Full-time.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.

The shift hours are 3:30pm - 2am.

What You’ll Do

The primary function of the ATS - Assembler is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. Pack and prepare product for shipping.

In This Function You Will

• Build/Wire Main Breaker Units
• Full Mechanical Assembly of the overall structure, build/wire/ doors and electrical devices, build/install copper, and complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship.
• Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
• Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
• Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand
• Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to elevate production issues immediately
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
