Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end test cases on ATM device handlers and Base24-eps switch configurations.
• Utilize the Paragon ASSET simulator to build, execute, and maintain automated regression suites.
• Validate complex financial transactions across card brands ensuring ISO 8583 messaging integrity.
• Configure and manage test environments, including switch parameters and simulator configurations.
• Identify, document, and track defects; perform root-cause analysis on failed transactions.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Testing Analyst with deep hands-on experience in validating and certifying ATM and payment switch environments using ACI Base24-eps, ASSET simulation tools, and advanced automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the payment processing lifecycle, ISO 8583 messaging, and complex ATM device handler configurations. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing of ATM transactions, ensuring seamless payment experiences, and maintaining high availability within our core banking infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• ATM Device Handler & Switch Testing: Execute end-to-end test cases on ATM device handlers and Base24-eps switch configurations. Validate the successful interaction between the terminal, the switch, and the host.
• Automation Framework Execution: Utilize the Paragon ASSET simulator to build, execute, and maintain automated regression suites. Shift from manual testing to scalable, high-volume automated transaction simulation.
• Transaction Validation: Validate complex financial transactions across multiple card brands (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Interac) ensuring integrity in ISO 8583 message formatting and bitmap data.
• Environment Readiness: Configure and manage test environments, including updating ATM switch parameters, device handler versions, and simulator configurations.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects within the Base24-eps ecosystem using standard defect management tools; perform root-cause analysis on failed transactions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Core Payments Knowledge: Strong understanding of payment processing systems, credit card transaction flows, and ISO 8583 standards.
• Technical Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience with ACI Base24-epsconfiguration and environment management.
• Simulation & Automation: Expert-level experience with ASSET simulator for ATM and host simulation, and experience writing/maintaining automated test scripts.
• ATM Testing: Significant experience in testing ATM device handlers and troubleshooting the communication handshake between hardware and the payment switch.

Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability of the payment infrastructure.
