NCR Atleos is seeking a Software Engineer III to join our ATM Solutions team in Frisco, TX onsite 3x per week. You will build host loadsets, branding, and integration work for ATMaaS deliveries, support certifications, and fix production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software development, scripting, or technical system configuration.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Scripting experience (Batch and/or PowerShell) and/or web experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; willingness to learn ATM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop Postilion host loadsets and scripts for ATM personality and flows.
• Build branding packages and remote update packages for customers.
• Combine host, network, loadset, and branding into customer delivery.
• Support ATMaaS turnkey deliveries and certification work for NA and UK customers.
• Investigate and resolve production issues escalated from Level 3 Support.
• Track issues from report through deployment in JIRA and ServiceNow.
• Write technical specifications and installation documentation.

Title: ATM Software Engineer – Postilion / Host Loadset Development

Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite 3x a week)

NCR Atleos is looking for a Software Engineer III to join our ATM Solutions team as an ATM Host Loadset Developer. Our team supports more than 130,000 ATMs across North America and the UK. We get each machine ready to process transactions by building the host loadsets that control how the ATM works and the branding packag ATM Software Engineer – Postilion / Host Loadset Developmentes that control what customers see on screen.

In this role, you'll bring the network, loadset, and branding pieces together into a complete, working delivery for our ATM as a Service (ATMaaS) customers. You'll work on customer projects, certifications, and strategic initiatives, and you'll help find and fix production issues as they come up. This is a specialized field. If you have strong technical basics and a real interest in ATM and payments technology, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Develop Postilion host loadsets and scripts that set up the ATM's personality, transaction options, and screen flows
• Build customer branding packages and remote update packages that deploy each customer's preferred screens
• Combine host/network configuration, loadsets, and branding into a complete, tested customer delivery
• Support ATMaaS Turnkey deliveries, customer enhancements, and certification work (terminal, software, and kiosk) for North American and UK customers
• Support new hardware integrations and multivendor ATM environments, including NDC emulation and cash recycling
• Investigate and resolve production issues escalated from Level 3 Support, including creating hot fixes
• Track issues from report through deployment in JIRA and ServiceNow
• Work with QA on test cases and fix software, loadset, or branding issues found in testing
• Estimate effort and commit to project deliverables, including constraints, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
• Write ATM technical specifications, installation documentation, and user guides
• Work with Business Line partners, QA, stakeholders, and customers to deliver the right product at the right time
• Help develop and maintain our continuous integration solution and take part in process improvement
• Write quality, testable, object-oriented code when your assignment includes it
• Travel as needed to support onsite activities, such as customer pilot installations

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in software development, scripting, or technical system configuration
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Scripting experience (Batch and/or PowerShell) and/or web experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong troubleshooting and logical problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn specialized ATM platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with transaction processing platforms, especially Postilion, including download and loadset development
• Experience with other ATM/EFT networks or host processors such as Base24, or experience at payment networks such as First Data
• Knowledge of ATM technology, including ATM terminal software, NDC/AANDC, NDCe, NCR AE, CEN/XFS, ATM security, and ATM software management tools
• Hands‑on experience with ATMs in a lab or production setting, including terminal software and hardware setup and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting ATM, kiosk, or terminal certification processes
• Experience managing Windows‑based desktop solutions and desktop security tools, preferably Trellix (McAfee) ePO
• Experience following a change management process, preferably in ServiceNow
• Experience writing technical documentation for product releases
• Ability to investigate reported issues, estimate their impact and scale, and deliver fixes
