Job summary

OceanWave Maritime in Atlanta is seeking a motivated Personal Trainer to join as a contract Fitness Consultant. You will create personalized workout plans and provide one-on-one training sessions to clients, guiding them toward their fitness goals with expert coaching.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. You will communicate in English, support diverse clients, and enjoy a competitive salary package with opportunities arising from this role in a dynamic team

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Certification in Personal Training from an accredited institution is preferred but not required.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
A passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
Basic knowledge of exercise science, anatomy and nutrition.
Physically fit and able to demonstrate exercises to clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalized workout plans based on clients goals, abilities and limitations.
Provide one-on-one personal training sessions to clients.
Demonstrate exercises properly and assist clients in maintaining correct form.
Motivate and encourage clients during training sessions.
Monitor clients progress, adjust workout plans as needed and celebrate their achievements.
Educate clients on proper nutrition, hydration, rest periods, etc.
Maintain a clean and safe workout environment at all times.
Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training programs.
