Job summary

Swissport International USA in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Cargo Agent to organize warehouse and storage facilities, arrange handling equipment and load/unload air cargo while upholding safety standards and company SOPs.

The expected pay rate is $17.50/hour. Full-time employees receive health and wellness benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick time and company paid holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Ensure cargo paperwork is accurate.
• Ensure proper handling and operation of cargo equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods Regulations.
• Comply with Swissport SOPs and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Cargo Agent organizes warehouse and storage facilities; arranges warehouse handling equipment and loads/unloads air cargo, while maintaining the required safety and quality standards as well as comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.

Your activities

• Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
• Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct
• Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment
• Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
• Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
• All other duties as assigned
