The ideal candidate has a strong photography portfolio and the ability to manage multiple assignments within a flexible schedule, including after-hours events and varying workloads.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in film studies, videography, photography or photojournalism is preferred.
• Knowledge of photographic principles, practices and techniques is preferred.
• Knowledge of photographic lighting techniques is preferred.
• Outstanding portfolio of high-quality images across events, portraits, sports and landscapes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in fast motion photography is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, staff and the public.
• Experience editing, organizing, and maintaining large collections of photos and videos.

Responsibilities

• Creates engaging multimedia storytelling using photography.
• Documents game day and athletic events.
• Takes and touches up photos as needed.
• Collaborates with athletics media staff and supports social media efforts.
• Delivers images rapidly for web, social media, and news use.
• Handles multiple assignments while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Keeps up with new photography tech, techniques and trends to share with the team.
