Job summary

Penn State University’s Athletics Marketing and Fan Experience Department is seeking motivated students interested in gaining experience in athletic marketing, fan experience, or game day management. Interns assist with planning and executing promotions and game production at home events, and will have the opportunity to work at all 31 Penn State Athletics events and campus initiatives.

Applicants should be dependable, capable of working independently or in a team, and able to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable and able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness and ability to lift 25 lbs or more.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe Creative Suite preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Marketing and Fan Experience staff in planning and executing game production and promotions at home athletic events.
• Support event operations at all 31 Penn State Athletics events and campus/community initiatives.
