Job summary

The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department seeks a Graphic Design Student Assistant to organize multiple design projects, develop concepts, and produce digital and print materials. You will present ideas to staff, prioritize work from several departments, and ensure deadlines are met.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite on Mac, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work on tight timelines in a team are essential. Enrollment in Visual Communication or similar major is required.

Qualifications

• Must know design programs on a Macintosh computer (Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and font management.
• Currently enrolled in Fall 2026 term in visual communications/related major.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage multiple projects in various stages of progress.
• Formulate design concepts, presentations, sign templates, layouts and other collateral from idea to execution.
• Present briefs and concepts to full-time staff.
• Prioritize and filter work from multiple departments.
• Design digital ads, print, and promotional materials.
• Work with images from photographers and assemble layouts.
• Meet all deadlines and contribute to marketing initiatives.
