Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five (5) years of full-time work experience in accounting/finance or related-field (preferably in Collegiate Athletics).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite—specifically Excel.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with program/support area Accounting Assistants/Budget Administrators and Exec Sr Assoc AD/CFO to develop analytical reports, models, and a financial data infrastructure for decision making.
• Oversees accounting operations, ensuring consistency with the University Controller’s Office general accounting practices and general ledger data integrity & accuracy.
• Custodian of the Athletic Department’s restricted gift and endowment funds, providing insights and planning around management and use of funds for scholarships, equipment needs, and capital.
