University of Louisiana at Lafayette is seeking a Director of Development, Athletics to lead major gift fundraising for the Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation (RCAF). This role reports to the Senior Director of Development and manages a portfolio of prospective donors to meet overall fundraising goals.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a full-time fundraiser securing gifts and pledges of $25,000 or more.
• Manage a portfolio of 125-175 major gift prospects, develop moves management strategies, and lead through qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Work with Development staff to ensure compliance with policies and coordinate major gift donor efforts.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally to meet with qualified donors and solicit major gifts.
• Prepare and enter call reports and maintain donor database records.
