Kent School Corporation is seeking a temporary Athletic Trainer responsible for caring for student-athletes in their athletic programs. The role involves injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation as part of a comprehensive Sports Medicine Program.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, possess NATABOC certification, and have effective communication skills. This position also requires evening and weekend availability as needed for practices and events.
Schedule/Travel: Late August 2026 through November 2026, with occasional travel. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 2:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday & Saturday games and practices from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Additional hours may vary based on Kent School events.

Athletic Trainer - Temporary, under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, is responsible for the care of students competing in Kent School’s athletic programs. The position is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries within the School’s comprehensive Sports Medicine Program. Athletic Trainer - Temporary collaboratively works with coaches, health services staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support the health, safety, and well-being of student‑athletes.
Provide coverage for athletic events and practices, including evenings and weekends as needed, under the direction of the Athletics Office, School Doctor, and Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Be dedicated to making positive contributions to the student experience both inside and outside the Athletic Department.
