Loyola Medicine, part of Trinity Health, invites applications for a Licensed Sports Athletic Trainer in Chicago's western suburbs. Join a team delivering comprehensive sports medicine in a university-affiliated setting.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, rehabilitation planning, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, injury prevention, and clinic-based care, with opportunities to support outreach and program growth. Illinois license and CPR required.

Qualifications

Illinois Licensed Athletic Trainer and CPR certification required.
1-2 years of experience; 3-5 years preferred.
Athletic training degree and certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a clinical setting as a physician extender within a University Sports Medicine Program.
Perform patient evaluation, education, rehab planning, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, injury prevention, treatment, and equipment fitting.
Support physicians during outreach events and provide athletic training services to affiliated schools per NATA guidelines.
Contribute to program growth through marketing, educational material development, and wellness event coordination.
Ensure patient satisfaction and assist families in navigating the system; collaborate with program directors and providers.
