Job summary

USA Staffing Network in Geneva, NY, is seeking an Athletic Trainer to manage athletic injuries under physician supervision. You will teach care and prevention to coaches, athletes, parents and medical staff, and support patient care in school settings and clinics.

The role offers hourly compensation with overtime, competitive benefits, and direct hire. NYS certification and BLS/RQI orientation are required; experience in sports medicine is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine or related program.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Athletic Training.
• NYS Registration and License as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
• NATABOC Certification.
• BLS Certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a physician, applies principles and procedures for managing athletic injuries including conditioning and reconditioning.
• Provides instruction to coaches, athletes, parents, and medical personnel on care and prevention of athletic injuries.
• Work in school systems and physician or hospital settings to support patient care.
• Provide coverage to sporting events as agreed upon by the Health System.
