Ascension in Waco, TX is hiring an Athletic Trainer to assess and manage rehabilitation programs, develop conditioning and nutrition plans, and act as the main liaison between athletes, physicians, and sports-performance staff.

The role requires Texas Athletic Trainer licensure within 6 months and BLS certification within 1 month of hire. Experience in athletic training is preferred; opportunities to contribute to athlete performance and preventive care are available.

Competenze

Licensure / Certification: Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers within 6 months of hire date.
BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Experience as an Athletic Trainer preferred.

Mansioni

Assess and manage comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation programs to ensure safe and timely athlete return-to-play.
Develop customized conditioning and nutrition plans for all athletes to optimize performance and prevent injury.
Evaluate and manage injuries, maintaining meticulous medical documentation and acting as the primary liaison between the athlete, physician, and sports performance staff.
Prepare athletes for practices and competitions by adhering to all regulatory guidelines and team schedules in collaboration with sports performance staff.
