Job summary

Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer at our Cascade Park, WA location. You will perform specified therapy procedures under the plan of care of a physical therapist to aid mobility and strength.

Responsibilities include assisting patients, applying modalities, and evaluating athletes for readiness and injuries, while maintaining confidentiality and working with a qualified team of physicians and therapists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from an accredited program.
• Master's degree in athletic training preferred.
• BOC Certification by the N.A.T.A. and eligible for WA licensure.
• Ability to communicate with patients and families effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Perform exercises, manual therapy and modalities.
• Evaluate and treat athletes to aid recovery and prevent injury.
• Assess readiness to play and issue participation clearances.
• Apply protective devices and assist in rehabilitation plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists on rehabilitation.
