North Mississippi Health Services is seeking Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) to recognize and evaluate sports injuries, provide first aid or emergency care, and develop rehabilitation programs for injured athletes. You will collaborate with physicians and serve as the communication link between athletes, doctors, coaches, and families to determine when it is safe to return to practice and competition.

Qualifications

• Must organize and implement athletic training services.
• Coordinate patient treatment schedules with PTs, PTAs, OTs, and COTAs.
• Promote Sports Medicine and Athletic Training to community organizations, schools, and the public.

Responsabilités

• Provide athletic training services to area recreational groups, schools, and other organization as assigned.
• Assist with Saturday morning clinics.
• Assist with planning and implementing pre-season physicals for athletes.
• Remains competent in modalities (heat, cold, ultrasound, electrotherapy) and therapeutic exercise.
• Attends and provides continuing education in servicing.
• Mentors for new employees or volunteers.
• Supervises student athletic trainers during hours.
