Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks an Athletic Trainer to provide timely, accurate, cost-efficient services under physician direction or referral. You will maintain injury records, stay current with state guidelines, and work with schools and community organizations to coordinate care and referrals.

Role requires evaluating patient needs, promoting sports medicine services, and adhering to HIPAA and professional standards. PRN schedule may involve varied sites and shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited athletic training education program.
• Active Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Athletic Training License; New Jersey Athletic Training License preferred.
• Two years of experience as an Athletic Trainer is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to athletes and patients per team physician guidance or physician referral.
• Maintain records of injuries and treatments in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Coordinate referrals and serve as liaison among physicians, sports performance, PT, nutrition and school/community stakeholders.
• Promote St. Luke’s Sports Medicine services to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and ongoing continuing education requirements.
