Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a licensed Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine program. The role emphasizes high-scope AT responsibilities, collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, and outreach to community clinics.

The position requires licensure in MN (and WI if applicable), a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, and a strong EMR skillset. Travel to other Allina clinics is expected as part of this 80-hour biweekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Athletic Training or Bachelor's degree prior to 2022.
• Basic proficiency in electronic medical record documentation.
• Experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, or outpatient clinical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical services and coordinates care with physicians and the care team.
• Performs rooming, vitals, and documents in the EMR.
• Assists with casting, splinting and DME as directed.
• Gives patient education before and after encounters or procedures.
• Coordinates care activities with physicians and other clinical team members to support patient flow.
