Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking Certified Athletic Trainers to fulfill a contractual agreement with specified high schools within the OhioHealth footprint. Responsibilities include evaluating injuries and providing care before, during, and after athletic events, with travel to away events as needed.

The position requires Ohio licensure and ATC credential, with an evening shift and a 40-hour work week in the Athletic Trainer Outreach department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required.
• ATC credential by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.
• Ohio licensure (LIC) in Athletic Training required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates athletic-related injuries (40%).
• Provides athletic care before, during, and after events per school district (40%).
• Travels with athletic teams to away events as scheduled (20%).

Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible to fulfill a contractual agreement between specified school(s) within the Ohio and OhioHealth footprint to provide Certified Athletic Trainers to the High Schools outlined annually in the agreement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed in Ohio by the OT/PT/AT Board as a certified athletic trainer.
