The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an athletic trainer to provide outreach training and rehabilitation services. This role involves overseeing activities for various sports and working under the supervision of physical therapists.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, an Ohio Athletic Trainer license, and a background in orthopedic or sports medicine. Previous experience with athletic populations is essential for success in this position.
This position is responsible for providing outreach athletic training as well as some rehabilitation and medical office support services for clinical areas of the Sports Medicine Center. The Sports Medicine Center is a multi-disciplinary outpatient program that provides health care for athletes and physically active people of all abilities. The Center's services include physician services, physical therapy and athletic training, education and research programs and community outreach programs.
