Job summary

METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER is seeking an Athletic Trainer to join the sports medicine team in Strongsville, OH. Under the direction of a licensed physician or physical therapist, you will manage and provide care to athletes to prevent, correct, and alleviate injuries across age groups from children to older adults.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training, an Ohio license, and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a major in Athletic Training.
• Current Athletic Training license in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Professional experience as an Athletic Trainer Certified.
• Physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, and other tasks described in the job documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to athletes to prevent, correct, and alleviate injuries.
• Work with individuals from children to geriatrics participating in sports and exercise.
